| CV rules determine which code combinations can be created and would drive the ability to code transactions in subledgers and the GL. This could allow transactions to be coded to invalid accounts such as an expense account not coded to a department or a balance sheet account improperly coded to a department. CV rules are important to maintain the integrity of the chart of accounts and to what accounts activity can be posted. |
